EA Sports UFC 2: 10 Highest Rated Pound-For-Pound Fighters
4. Daniel Cormier (94)
Similarly to Georges St-Pierre, Cormier did not have an easy childhood by any means. His father was murdered by the father of his second wife when he was only eight years old. His background was that of wrestling in terms of combat sports, and he fell just short of winning a medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. It was in 2007 after the World Wrestling Championships that Cormier decided to delve into MMA, having won a bronze medal. Nobody had managed to defeat the American in his previous 15 MMA bouts before Jon Jones did at UFC 192. Even following that defeat, he bounced back to win the UFC Light-Heavyweight belt in his next fight, before successfully defending it in October 2015. Due to his wrestling background, his clinching ability is as good as anybody's in the UFC - reflected by his 98 clinch rating in-game. There are few chinks in Cormier's armour, with no MMA fighter able to defeat him via submission or KO during his time in the sport. The 36 year-old will be attempting to avenge his loss to Jon Jones at UFC 197, which takes place on April 23 - the first bout of his new eight-fight contract.
