EA Sports UFC Roster: 15 Most Shocking Fighter Omissions

12. Edson Barboza

Though he is coming off a loss to Donald Cerrone, before Cowboy caught the Brazilian with a thunderous straight left Barboza was all over Cerrone. We saw that his hand-speed was significantly faster than even Cerrone€™s and his footwork more complex. Barboza has €“ on more than one occasion €“ been let down by his shaky chin. Though he may have fallen at the sizeable hurdle that is Donald Cerrone, Barboza should really have been put in the game. He is probably the best pure striker in the whole of the UFC with excellent boxing and some of the best kicks you are ever likely to see. Indeed, Barboza owns one of the best knockouts in UFC history over Liverpool€™s Terry Etim. Though he may not be the biggest EA Sports UFC snub in terms of his ranking, Barboza would without question be incredibly fun to play as €“ creative on the feet, with incredible speed and proven knockout power.
