EA Sports UFC Roster: 15 Most Shocking Fighter Omissions
7. Anthony Rumble Johnson
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdKaFguv-Vg Rumble Johnson experienced a reasonable amount of success in the UFC a couple of years ago which was undone by his frustrating inability to make the required weight. First the Blackzillian-fighter fought as a welterweight though his inability to consistently meet the weight requirements forced him to move up to middleweight. When he once again failed to make weight against Vitor Belfort as a 185-lber, he was understandably cut from the UFC. During his time away from the UFC, Rumble was finally able to find his natural fighting weight and has flourished as a Light Heavyweight with devastating knockout power. A string of impressive victories meant the UFC gave him another chance, though he was thrown in at the deep-end against perennial title contender Phil Davis. Rumble Johnson overcome the steep test presented by the skilled-grappler without ever seeming to be tested he demolished Davis on the feet and outwrestled him for the entirety of the 15-minute bout. This incredible rise-from-the-ashes story has earned Rumble a #5 ranking in the 205-lbs division yet EA have prioritised the 20-Light Heavyweights featured in the game over the resurgent fighter.
