Elden Ring: 10 Most Difficult Bosses You'll Encounter
8. Commander Niall
If you made sure to fully explore every nook and cranny you could in the open world, chances are you’ve come across Castle Sol. This is a relatively small area of the game where you encounter Commander Niall, one of the most infuriating field-bosses you’ll discover.
He starts by summoning two spectral knights who’ll assist him in combat. Dealing with these two on their own is already hard enough and is sure to take up a lot of your Sacred Tears, and even after you deal with them, you still have the actual boss to handle.
Commander Niall is no pushover, with his massive tornado attack and rush moves that can quickly kill you in one hit, and this is without mentioning that the boss is a complete damage sponge and will take a lot of hits before falling.
Since this is an optional boss, it’s highly recommended that you tackle this after leveling up a bit; if you can manage to take down the two knights without taking much damage, then dealing with Niall should be a bit easier and more tolerable.
