The Elder Scrolls: 10 Crazy Secrets (That You Totally Have To Check Out)

6. The Headless Horseman

Game: Skyrim The Elder Scrolls are known for their random encounters and seemingly spontaneous events, but here's one that you might not have come across. The Headless Horseman can rarely be seen riding along Skyrim's roads at night, between the hours of 10PM and 4AM. The Horseman is not considered an enemy, and will not attack the player. He is also unable to be attacked, and is not affiliated with any quests. If you follow the Headless Horseman on his travels, you will eventually be led to Hamvir's Rest, an ancient Nordic ruin. At the Rest is three enemy skeletons and a Draugr, along with a master-level chest. It's also possible to go to Hamvir's Rest during the day, where the player can occasionally see the Horseman gazing out over the cemetery.
