Elder Scrolls 6: 10 Things Fans Want To See

7. Refined Companions

Elder Scrolls 6
Bethesda

Being able to have dozens of different companions was nice and it meant that you could likely bring along any character you found on your adventures.

If you particularly like someone, you could probably have them as a follower. However, almost every companion was fundamentally the same as soon as they started to follow you.

After playing through years of Fallout's more refined rosters, the decision becomes incredibly obvious. Focussing in on a dozen characters makes a far more compelling experience. You are more likely to remember all of Fallout 4's companions than you are to name five of the followers in Skyrim.

Even Lydia, if not for her incredibly unique talent of surviving hundred metre drops of cliffs after you accidentally push the 'Fus Ro Dah' button, would likely fall by the wayside.

You think she would catch on after the thousandth time.
