Elder Scrolls: Every Daedra Lord RANKED From Worst To Best
4. Azura
Azura, Prince of Dawn and Dusk, like Mehrunes Dagon, feels consequential. Important.
The plot of Morrowind, arguably the best entry of the series, is basically due to some Azura lore. It says that she (one of the few Daedra to be consistently presented as a woman) cursed the Chimer to create the Dumner, and that another aspect of them breaking their oath to her was that she would reincarnate Nerevar to rectify this admittedly complicated situation.
Come Morrowind, you play the Nerevarine, the aforementioned reincarnation.
Though only one instance of Azura featuring in playable Elder Scrolls stories, she does tend to crop up in dialogue and other interactions far more than the others. The result, again, is that this Daedra feels more or less alive, unlike some of the less fleshed out one. Azura's Star, her artefact, is also one of the more useful and she is one of, if not the only Daedra, who can be more or less considered good, a novelty for this bunch.
Morrowind stans praise Azura.
