Every Soulcalibur Guest Character Ranked!
1. Geralt Of Rivia (The Witcher) - Soulcalibur VI (PS4/PC/Xbox One)
When Geralt was first announced, I didn’t get it. I was assuming that Bandai Namco were jumping on a bandwagon, since The Witcher had become massively popular.
My mind was completely changed when I first tried playing as Geralt. Suddenly his inclusion made more sense. His magic is relatively subdued in Soulcalibur VI, but that just highlights his sword wielding prowess. He’s as surprising an inclusion as Link was back in Soulcalibur II, and he’s also one of the better characters in the game on official tier lists.
Best of all, the reason he’s even in Soulcalibur makes complete sense. Being transported between dimensions is not a new thing for him. He also did this in Monster Hunter: World. Both Monster Hunter and Soulcalibur are worlds that make sense for him to be in, even if they’re nowhere near as gritty or dark as his own.
Link may be more significant, but Geralt is the better guest character.
