Red Dead Online Properties Leaked

Thanks to the latest Naturalist update in Red Dead Online, certain data miners have been having a field day in finding plenty of new content coming to the game.

Previously, the community found a bunch of images pertaining to a Halloween update full of new cosmetics ready for the end of Outlaw Pass 3.

It seems that within the same update we now have confirmation that Rockstar is planning some major property developments in the future. Owning a property has been one of the most requested features from fans since the release of the online mode back in 2018. Supposed buildings had already been found within the code to be possible locations of purchasable houses, but information was still relatively difficult to come by.

The leak was first brought into the limelight by reputable data miner 2 Smokin' Barrels who had previously given information regarding the legendary animals and much much more.

Thankfully, this new leak has some insane details that had never been in the code before, including the name of the properties and their respective prices. Players may want to start saving as these prices get particularly pricey towards the top range lodgings.

There are so far eight named buildings that will supposedly be available for purchase. Here is a list of the properties and their prices (please bear in mind that all of these prices are represented by the game's gold currency and are subject to change):

1. Document_Macfarlane_Ranch_Deed = "45.00"2. Document_Butcher_Creek_Shack_Deed = "50.00"3. Document_Strawberry_Hotel_Room_Deed = "60.00"4. Document_Silent_Stead_Deed = "80.00"5. Document_Crop_Farm_Deed = "100.00"6. Document_Crop_Farm_Deed_Rustic = "100.00"7. Document_Lodge_Farm_Deed = "125.00"8. Document_Saint_Denis_Mansion_Deed = "600.00"

A few of these properties have clear indications as to where they would be located such as the Saint Denis mansion, the Strawberry hotel room, and the MacFarlane Ranch. Fans can only speculate as to where some of the other might be located.

Judging from the known locations and prices it does seem like there is an insanely steep increase for that prime real estate. Butcher Creek, for example, is a disease-ridden village just west of Annesburg and Van Horn, while Saint Denis is the biggest and most populated town in the game.

And therein lies the biggest concern is if these prices turn out to be true. 50-100 gold seems like a reasonable fee at the moment given that the Outlaw Passes are 45 gold and the most expensive horse comes to around 100 gold as well.

However, 600 gold for a Saint Denis mansion? Some players who have been on the game since launch have never seen so much gold in their lifetimes. Even some experienced YouTubers that play the game daily would struggle with such astronomical amounts.

With any luck, Rockstar will catch wind of this leak and the fan reactions to the outrageous figures and do something about it. As for right now, it is time to dust off the old cowboy boots and get back to the infamous Rockstar grind.
