5. The Characters

The Fallout games have contained some of the most memorable characters in gaming, and number 4 is sure to continue that trend. It's still not known precisely where the time-frame of part 4 fits in with other Fallout games, but it looks likely that some of the memorable personalities from past will return; something which is going to be greatly appreciated by fans. One previous character who is heavily rumoured to make a comeback is radio host, DJ, and news anchor from Fallout 3, Three Dog. Does this also suggest another radio station you can listen to on your adventures? Most likely. As well as any returning characters, expect to meet a myriad of new and memorable people - and probably some radioactive monsters that can talk. The series has always contained great writing - showcasing an excellent mix of comedy and tragedy - whereas a lot of upcoming RPGs seem a lot more serious and moody in style.
