Fallout 4: 12 Hidden Easter Eggs, References & Secrets You Must Find

5. South Park & Dogmeat's 'Red Rocket'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HpxI4HMG6A This one's going to take some explaining, because it's actually a pretty cool (if unintentional) hand-shaking of references back and forth between Bethesda and South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Firstly, know that the Red Rocket gas stations have been around since at least Fallout 3, but then think to the South Park episode 'Proper Condom Use', where the boys figure out you can 'milk' a dog - to hilariously disgusting results. Across the episode they take to referring to the dog's giggle-stick (you've gotta think of names for these things to keep everyone happy) as 'red rocket'. Now, in Fallout 4, the Red Rocket station is intact like before - except this time round it's where you locate your dog, Dogmeat, with him residing directly under the attached canopy. Now, it could be entirely unintentional - the South Park episode pre-dates Fallout 3 regardless - but it's far more fun to assume Bethesda included this little series of events on purpose.
