Fallout 5: 10 Latest Rumours You Need To Know

2. A Location Outside The US

Take this rumour with a few grains of radioactive salt because it's largely based on messageboard chatter and fan speculation, but a Fallout sequel set outside of the post-nuclear United States would be a tantalising prospect.

China and Russia's involvement in the Great War which shaped Fallout's universe is well documented, so it would be interesting to see how doomsday transformed those nations, even if that means visiting them for just a handful of missions.

The original Fallout's prologue also makes it clear that most of Europe was locked in war when the nukes started to fly, which begs questions about what state the rest of the continent is in. Around the time of New Vegas' release, there were strong rumours of a London-set entry in the series, and that's something Bethesda could revisit.

The UK is one of the new non-American nations referenced within the series, with Fallout 3 character Allistair Tenpenny confirming that he left Britain to find his fortune in the Capital Wasteland. If the irradiated ruins of Washington DC are the preferred option, how bad must things be over in Blighty?
