3. Will Fallout 5 Arrive Before Elder Scrolls VI?
RPG fans are clamouring for more Fallout, but they're also eager to know when the next entry in another Bethesda series, The Elder Scrolls, is hitting shelves. Given that the bestselling Skyrim launched several years before Fallout 4, you might think the fantasy franchise is due another instalment first, though that isn't necessarily the case.
In late 2016, Bethesda marketing chief Pete Hines confirmed on Twitter that the studio is working on two "major projects", neither of which is The Elder Scrolls VI.
Exactly what those two games are is anybody's guess, but some fans seem convinced one of them is a Fallout title. There's also the possibility that both are original properties, but wasteland wanderers are living in hope.
Announcing Fallout 5 before the sixth Elder Scrolls would be a surprising move, considering Skyrim came out way back in 2011, though Bethesda appears to be downplaying the existence of both sequels right now.
Perhaps that will change at E3 this summer as one, or both, of these hotly-anticipated games could join the realms of reality at the Los Angeles expo.
