Fallout: Ranking Every Add-On From Worst To Best
8. The Pitt (Fallout 3)
If you want a game that delves head-first into moral ambiguity, tough decisions, and a generally bleak tone, look no further than the Fallout 3 add-on The Pitt.
On the whole, Fallout 3's main story is very much one of good versus evil with a very clear line between right and wrong. In turn, the Pitt's more cynical outlook, which blurs that line, was an interesting change of pace, to say the least.
Sure, Fallout 3's side quests had some tough moral choices, but even then, most pale in comparison to The Pitt's sheer morbidness.
In addition, the new area formerly known as Pittsburgh was well-designed and a lot of fun to explore. It's also one of the single scariest examples of just how bad things got for certain areas following the Fallout universe's Great War.
The Pitt is undeniably one of the better Fallout 3 add-ons. Unfortunately, much like Operation: Anchorage, it's also an incredibly short journey. Had it been at least twice as long as it was, it could have ranked much, much higher.
