Fallout: Ranking Every Add-On From Worst To Best

9. Vault-Tec Workshop (Fallout 4)

Fallout New Vegas Old World Blues
Bethesda

Of Fallout 4's three Workshop expansions, Vault-Tec Workshop is easily the best.

Say what you will about the settlement-building in Fallout 4, but being able to design, manage, and even become the overseer of your very own Vault-Tec vault is genuinely very fun.

In fact, it's basically like playing a full-scale game of Fallout Shelter, except not nearly as stressful and with more room for architectural creativity.

What's more is that this isn't just a new settlement with mindless contraptions thrown into the mix. There's also a rather humorous story to experience, which involves your rise to the position of Vault 88's overseer by ousting your morally questionable predecessor.

Many of the new constructible objects are also both useful and practical (as opposed to those of the other Workshop add-ons.) As a matter of fact, some (namely the slot machine) are practically invaluable when it comes to earning that infamously pesky Benevolent Leader achievement, which definitely gets Vault-Tec Workshop some brownie points.

This DLC is still far from Earth-shattering, but it competently accomplished exactly what it set out to.
