FIFA 14: 10 Nations You Won't Believe Aren't On The Game
6. Serbia
Another European nation that is for some strange reason absent on FIFA is Serbia, who not so long ago were ranked 13th in the world football rankings. They reached the semi-finals at the inaugural World Cup tournament and finished fourth in 1962. Most recently, they narrowly avoided reaching the knockout stages in 2010 in a difficult group with Germany, Ghana and Australia. They are an established football nation and have continued to do well since splitting with Montenegro, boasting memorable players like Dejan Stankovic. Nowadays, they have Chelsea duo Branislav Ivanovic and Nemanja Matic in their ranks, as well as Manchester City's Alexsandor Kolarov. Not long ago, they could count Premier League-winning Man Utd captain Nemanja Vidic among their ranks. But still, no dice, apparently. Serbia may not be a huge footballing nation when compared to the European elite but they definitely deserve their place in the FIFA roster and the fact that they are not yet available is somewhat disturbing, given the lesser nations again, India that actually do feature on the game.
