4. Thiago Alcantara
The next player to appear in our countdown recently joined treble-winning Bayern Munich after being hotly linked with a move to Manchester United. Although his profile has increased, Thiago did not really come into the minds of football fans until his recent performance at the Under 21s European Championships, where he scored a hat-trick for Spain in the final against Italy. You can be certain that after these performances and the fact that he has recently joined one of Europes elite teams, his rating will be much higher than the 79 he received when the 2014 edition of FIFA is released.
3. Raphael Varane
Raphael Varane was given a rating of 76 on the last FIFA, which is most likely due to his age and lack of experience. However, a man of the match performance and scoring against Barcelona after he was selected to play in more high-profile games says he will be rated in the 80s this year. Due to his impressive final few months of the season, Raphael Varane was voted into the Best Foreign Eleven in Real Madrids history, even though he has only made 24 appearances for the team. As his reputation has grown, he will no doubt receive a higher rating in FIFA 14.
