4. Gerard Pique (Barcelona) - 86
EA are often criticised by fans for overvaluing Barcelona as a squad in recent years. Of the Catalan team, no player stands out as being more overrated than centre back Gerard Pique who is a far-cry from the player he once was. As a team, Barcelona don't do well defending - their strategy is to dominate the possession so that the opposition don't ever have the chance to organise a fluid attack. On the few occasions when they are caught on the back-foot, Barcelona do not look great and Pique is at the heart of this shaky defence. In the last significant international game he was involved in at the Confederations Cup final back in August Pique was embarrassed by the boys from Brazil leading to the once internationally dominant Spain taking a 3-0 pounding. Putting him level with Vincent Kompany is laughable.
