1. Xavi Not Among The Top 5 Rated Players
Of course, the one aspect of player ratings in the FIFA series that is considered most important (and therefore, as a rule, most debatable) is which players are considered the very best in the game. Lionel Messi of FC Barcelona stays at No.1, naturally, while Cristiano Ronaldo comes in at a close second. Franck Ribéry of European champions Bayern Munich is in third, while Barca's Iniesta is fifth. Fourth place, you're wondering? Well, this year, there's no room for Xavi in the top 5 best players list, with the Spain international being displaced by Radamel Falcao. Xavi has, for years, been considered one of the world's greatest midfielders, but at 33, the veteran has been replaced by Monaco striker Falcao, which is perhaps understandable. No place in the game's top 5 best players list then for Gareth Bale, world's most expensive player, while Barca's Neymar isn't even in the top 50, let along top 5.
