6. Luis Suarez Rated Only 33rd In Top 50
It can also be argued that Liverpool's Luis Suarez received something of a raw deal in this year's player ratings. The 26-year-old is considered only the 33rd best player in the game, that's despite the fact he was the Premier League's second-highest goalscorer last season - more than Gareth Bale, who is considered one point better off. The decision to hand Suarez an 86 makes a little sense when you take into account the fact he can't play until later this month due to his suspension for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic, but even then the decision to underrate him seems a little ridiculous. Off-the-field antics shouldn't be accounted for and his mantle as a world class player cannot be diminished. Suarez was behind only Robin van Persie in the Premier League goalscoring charts last season, yet the Dutchman is considered a whole 27 places better off.
