FIFA 15: 10 Improvements EA Sports MUST Make
5. Change Socks/Shorts
Look at the above image - does anything strike you as being a bit off? To a football fan, one thing that should stick out is the colour of AC Milan's shorts; in reality, if they were to play City at the Etihad, either the white shorts would be changed to black, or they would wear an away strip to make up for any other clash. This has been a problem with the FIFA series since it began, as the only options available to players when selecting the kits before each game are predetermined and rigid. For example, when playing away in real life, Chelsea regularly change the colour of their socks from white to blue to cater for a clash with the strip of the home side, and in FIFA 15, and indeed every FIFA from now on, the option to change socks and shorts as required should be introduced. Now, we're not talking about anything crazy here: perhaps the option of changing Manchester Utd's shorts from white to black, not from white to yellow or anything you would not see in real life. This would improve the aesthetic side of the game, and cater for any problem real-life kit suppliers and teams may have with the change. The implementation of this aspect could also help to keep Career Mode fresh, especially when planning on staying with a team for a number of seasons.
