Bastian Schweinsteiger is easily at his most effective in central midfield, able to use his vision, passing ability and experience to dictate the pace of the match to his sides advantage. Schweinsteiger is very much the lynchpin of Joachim Lows Germany side (and to a lesser extent Pep Guardiolas Bayern Munich) and for this reason he is deservedly rated as being the FIFA franchises best German player. Though his pace may be slowly fading, the midfielders exceptional technical skills make up for this relative lack of speed and acceleration. A series of injury complaints prevented him getting many league games for the Bavarian giants last season, but an excellent string of performances in the World Cup were enough for Schweinsteiger to keep his high rating from FIFA 14. With 89 short passing, 87 long passing and 86 vision, Schweinsteiger will definitely continue to be one of the games most devastatingly effective playmakers in FIFA 15.
