FIFA 15: 10 Under-Rated Players Who Need Upgrading In The January Updates

6. Gylfi Sigurðsson - 77

They say home is where the heart is, and Gylfi has certainly found a home at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea. After impressing while on loan during The Swans' first season in the Premier League, the attacking midfielder endured a tough time of it at Tottenham Hotspur and never really endeared himself to the White Hart Lane faithful. A string of bit-part appearances that didn't lead to much in the way of goals and assists actually saw his rating go up one point compared to FIFA 14, unbelievably. After Tottenham flogged him back to Wales in a swap deal with The Swans' Ben Davies, the Iceland international has proved he belongs in the upper echelons on the Premier League. The 25-year-old has scored five times in 20 appearances while contributing eight assists to his teammates. This form should see Gylfi upgraded to the 82-85 bracket. The former Reading man formed a fantastic partnership with striker Wilfred Bony at the peak of Garry Monk's attack, but with the Ivorian poised to leave for Manchester City, Sigurðsson will have to step his game up another level to continue Swansea's solid season to date.
