FIFA 15: 10 Under-Rated Players Who Need Upgrading
6. Gareth Bale (Real Madrid) 87
In recent times Real Madrids big-money signings have settled in at the Bernabéu in two polarising ways either they go the way of the Kakas and Wesley Sneijders of the world and fall a long way short of expectations, or they reach all new heights like Cristiano Ronaldo. When Gareth Bale broke every transfer record last summer with his move from Spurs to Real Madrid for 100-million, many believed the huge step up in expectations would lead to too much pressure being placed on the shoulders of the Welshman. Bale has proved to be worth every penny of the kings ransom the European powerhouses paid for him. Not only has he proven despite speculation to the contrary that he has superb chemistry playing alongside Ronaldo, but he also quickly got back to the goal scoring ways which defined his time at White Hart Lane. His reliability in front of goal combined with his blistering pace and creative vision means that an 87-rating just isnt good enough for a beast like Bale.
