FIFA 15: 10 Under-Rated Teams Which Need Upgrading

3. Chile €“ 4 Star

Att: 78 / Mid: 76 / Def: 72 An exit in the round of 16 by no means does Chile€™s excellent World Cup campaign justice. Not only did they come close to knocking the hosts out of the competition in the first knockout stage but they played mesmerising, offence-orientated football which rightly made them a fan favourite. Not only did they unpick a tough Australian side but they comfortably eased their way past former champions Spain and in so doing knocked them out of the competition. The gritty Vidal was a pillar in midfield, using his accurate passes to supply the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Pinilla and Isla. The Chilean side always looked dangerous and many were sad to see them exit the competition at a relatively early stage. At times their offensive style left them open at the back but Claudio Bravo was almost always on hand to protect the goal. Indeed it was thanks to the heroics of the Chilean keeper that he was signed by Barcelona on a four-year deal, hand-picked to be Victor Valdes€™ successor. Chile€™s rating as a just-above-average international team on FIFA 14 is by no means accurate. They were inches away from beating Brazil and who knows how they would have fared against Colombia and Germany. In FIFA 15 the South American team should be honoured with a much higher rating.
