FIFA 15: Liverpool Player Rating Predictions

1. Daniel Sturridge - 84

FIFA 14 rating: 80 There were many raised eyebrows when Liverpool announced the signing of Sturridge when he joined from Chelsea in January 2013, but he has been an absolute revelation since then, scoring 36 goals in just 50 games for the club. That's a better goals per game ratio than Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen, Fernando Torres and Suarez all managed in their first 50 matches. The 24-year-old has become one of the Premier League's best strikers over the last year, and he will most certainly have an improved FIFA rating this time around. 24 goals in all competitions last season was a terrific effort, and although his partner in crime Suarez has moved on, expect him to shine still alongside the likes of Sterling and Coutinho. His winner against Southampton was typically clinical, and earned the Reds all three points in their opening game of the 2014/15 campaign. Rodgers is still avidly looking for another striker to bring in before the end of the transfer window, but Sturridge is without doubt first-choice as it stands. Even if they bring in a star name like Radamel Falcao or Edinson Cavani, you have to ask how on earth Sturridge could possibly be dropped. His speed, movement and ruthless finishing make him one of Liverpool's key men without question, and he will score goals aplenty on FIFA 15.
