The pace and dynamism that once made him one of the best players on the game may have deserted him, but his passing is as good as ever and his set piece delivery has actually improved. Age is catching up with the Reds and England legend, but there is most certainly life in the old dog yet. He remains a pivotal member of Rodgers' plans, and if used in a midfield trio alongside two of Henderson, Allen or Coutinho, his lack of legs won't be an issue. Don't expect to miss many penalties with him either.
