The 25-year-old was a relative unknown to many this time last year- he joined the Saints after an impressive spell at Lyon- but his displays since then will see his rating improve without a doubt. The Croatia international has everything it takes to be a top class central defender: pace, leadership, ability on the ball and an excellent reading of the game. He will be Liverpool's first-choice centre-back under Rodgers, and is a player who should help make the Reds strong at the back again, having leaked goals like no tomorrow in 2013/14. Liverpool will be a team you simply have to play an attacking style with on FIFA 15, but you can live safe in the knowledge that Lovren will be back there holding the defence together.
