FIFA 15 Ultimate Team: 10 Legends Who Were Criminally Overlooked

3. Zinedine Zidane

Suggested Rating €“ 93 One of the undeniable legends of the modern game, EA Sports€™ continued reluctance to feature Zinedine Zidane on their list of Legends is truly shocking. The Frenchman may have ended his spectacular career on a sour note with his head-butting Materazzi in the World Cup but this certainly shouldn€™t mean that he is swept under the rug by EA Sports. The offensive midfielder€™s illustrious career was studded throughout with an insane number of major trophies, awards and honours, including two Serie A titles with Juventus, a La Liga title with Real Madrid and the 1998 World Cup on home soil. Zidane played with an elegance lesser players can only dream of, with silky smooth dribbling, crisp passing and superb vision. As well as being the type of player whose passing game improves the rest of the team, Zidane was also capable of individual brilliance, evidenced by his 31 goals in 108 appearances for France. As well as all his technical ability, Zidane€™s mental attributes on the pitch were incredible €“ Zizou was never daunted by the magnitude of a game and always inspired his teammates to perform. The fact that Zidane still features in Adidas adverts is a testament to his legendary status. It is high time EA Sports reflected this on FIFA.
