Even a marginal upgrade to Bales stats will make him far more expensive; indeed, the Team of the Season version of the winger (rated 93 overall) has sold for as high as 15,000,000 online on FIFA 14. To most players this price hike will make little difference as the six-figure cost is already astronomical.
