It has been announced that EA will hand the power to fans when it comes to deciding who will feature on the FIFA 16 cover, like they do with Madden and some of their other popular sports titles. Lionel Messi has been confirmed for the cover, of course, though he will be joined by one of Sergio Aguero, Thibaut Courtois, Harry Kane and Jordan Henderson. Fans can vote through the EA Sports official website, with further points being added to the players' totals as people use FIFA 15 with them. Meanwhile in Australia, it has been announced that Tim Cahill will be dropped from the cover alongside Messi to feature one of their women's national team players, a move which will more than likely transfer across to the UK if the game mode succeeds.
