FIFA 16: 10 Goalkeeper Wonderkids You Should Sign
4. Predrag Rajkovic - Red Star Belgrade
On the verge of bankruptcy and barred from European competition, Red Star Belgrade, had to shift their focus to youth for the 2015 season. One of those upcoming talents wearing the Zvezda shirt is the young goalkeeper, Predrag Rajković.
His main strength lies in his shot stopping. He is also very good when it comes to one-on-ones situations and saving penalties however, Rajković, still has an issue with handling crosses; his decision-making in situations when coming off of his line to collect long balls could use a great deal of improvement.
His debut went about as well as can for a goalkeeper, keeping a clean sheet and performing pretty well. He then went on to keep another 7 clean sheets in a row, establishing himself as the no.1.
Aleksandar Holiga had this to say about the keeper: "His reactions are quick and well-timed, his positioning remarkable, his style attractive to watch. It’s rare to see such confidence at such a young age. While it may be too early to expect him making a breakthrough in 2015, I can see him playing for a major European club in a couple of years.”
