When it comes to downgrading David Luiz, it's not necessarily his overall rating that's the problem, it's all of the extras that combine to make him arguably the best defender in the game, when he certainly isn't in the real world. His defensive stats are very decent, and when you combine that with the rest of his attributes, he becomes a monster, with only three below 65. He's quick for a defender, strong, and good at passing, long shots and freekicks. He doesn't come across as a seriously flawed player due to the lack of many mental stats, and following his inclusion in the World Team of the Year, he looks set to rise, when some of his stats should probably be heading in the opposite direction,
