Arturo Vidal is surely a good player, that's not in doubt, but is he really one of the best in the world? I'm less sure. He came with an 85 rating on FIFA 15, and you can expect that to rise a notch purely after his transfer to Bayern Munich. He was clearly excellent in Serie A but on the grandest stage of all, the Champions League Final against Barcelona, Vidal bottled it. He played like a thug charging into opponents, flying into dangerous tackles, and leaping into reckless lunges. While he should be ranked highly, 85 and above is a lofty rating for somebody yet to truly dominate at the very top level.
