EA aren't particularly into rapidly dropping ratings. On one hand that's a good thing, meaning that one poor run of form doesn't see one of the world's obvious finest players drop from the world stage into obscurity, however sometimes players hang around at their lofty rating for too long. Falcao is the joint 7th highest rated player on the game with an 88 rating that made EA look a little bit silly after a campaign of misery with Manchester United. Now he's landed at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea and offered very little in the Community Shield. He should be dropping well down in the 80s, but EA's insistence on keeping players up the rankings means he won't fall far enough.
