An overall rating of 81 flatters Eto'o considerably. He may have played for Barcelona, Inter Milan, and Chelsea, but he has really fallen short of those heights in recent years.

In reality, the once best-paid player in the game has never had a stunning record. His best tally was at Inter Milan, where he scored 25 in two seasons. At Barcelona, he scored 24 in three years, but in a similar number of games.

He moved to Chelsea on a free last season from super-rich Anzhi Makhachkala to much fanfare, but his respectable tally of 9 goals in 16 games wasn't enough to convince Mourinho to keep him on.

Since then, however, it's all gone downhill. He moved to Everton on a free and scored 3 times in 8 games, but again wasn't sufficiently good enough for Roberto Martinez. If you feel like you haven't seen him in the Premier League recently, you'd be right - he slipped away to Sampdoria in the January transfer window, again on a free.

One goal in 12 is frankly abysmal for the once best-paid player in the world, and EA would be wise to MASSIVELY lower his rating for FIFA 16's release.

Samuel Eto'o Recommended Rating: 72
