Adebayor is a strange one. He has a habit of moving to a club and having a fantastic season with them, before he appears to get bored, lazy and lose all interest. This is when the goals dry up.

He had a pretty respectable season last time out at Tottenham Hotspur, considering he only played a single game under André Villas-Boas before Tim Sherwood replaced the Portuguese manager. 14 goals in just 25 games was nothing to be sniffed at, but after Sherwood's departure at the end of the season, the goals vanished once again. The big Togolese striker has only hit the back of the net twice in 17 appearances this season.

While it's fair to say he's been living under the shadow of Harry Kane this season, who has been phenomenal in all competitions, that's no excuse for a player who had a good long run in the side before he was dropped.

If he's kept at 80, he'll still be a quality striker on FIFA, with solid ratings all round. Unfortunately, FIFA doesn't exactly take into account things like work ethic, which Adebayor is sorely lacking. New manager Mauricio Pochettino will hope he can get Adebayor scoring again, as he can't rely on Kane forever.
