Alessandro Nesta was one of the last members of the dying breed of classic Italian defenders. He fit the stereotypical mould in AC Milan's defence for years, with his first club Lazio also gaining some great memories from him. He's the ideal man to slot into your Serie A team if you want to bring back a truly dominant defensive rock. He only recently retired after a spell in the MLS with Montreal Impact and Chennaiyin in the Indian Super League.
