Andres Iniesta certainly didn't have the best season of his career. Barcelona's iconic midfield string-puller only managed 5 goals and 11 assists in 43 games for club and country, and all of those goals came in the Spanish Cup, while just one assist came in La Liga. However, while his form dipped stats-wise, he remains a big part of the Catalan plan to dominate the world once again. Ivan Rakitic is an increasing presence in midfield and Iniesta looks to be keeping the creative midfield place warm for a rising star to grow into the role. EA typically don't just drop legendary player ratings when they've still had a reasonable season, so expect Iniesta to remain high up, albeit with a point knocked off down to a still impressive 88.
