You’d be hard pressed to find a player whose reputation has suffered from spending last season at the King Power Stadium.

However, when Swiss captain Gokhan Inler was signed from Napoli for £3 million, he was viewed as the marquee arrival who would set about replacing Esteban Cambiasso as the Foxes bid to stave off the threat off relegation.

Inler instead found himself swept up in the throes of a title hunt, and found himself relegated to the bench with N’Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater proving impossible to dislodge.

He only made five league appearances for the club, costing him a place in the Swiss squad for Euro 2016 - quite the fall from grace for a man with 88 caps and two Coppa Italias to his name. It’s a surprise that the 32-year-old hasn’t sought a move away from the King Power Stadium this season, as he is clearly not part of Claudio Ranieri’s plans.
