Earlier we talked about Karim Benzema, but now it's time to look at the man whom he arguably outed from the centre forward role at Real Madrid: Gonzalo Higuain. Upon leaving the Spanish capital in 2013, the Argentine's form failed to dip. He has proven an invaluable asset for Napoli, and last season's performances were spectacular enough to warrant a move to Juventus.

Higuain is all about technique over physicality. Although his size and speed are nothing special (at least compared to some others on this list), he remains an incredibly clinical finisher - so much so that he equalled the most goals scored in a Serie A campaign last year, a record set in 1929. He's no one-trick pony either, possessing the required dribbling skills to carve out opportunities for himself.
