This time last year, Jesse Lingard was coming off the back of a loan deal at Steve McClaren’s Derby County.

Nobody could have predicted that by the end of the campaign, he would have 40 appearances for the Red Devils’ first-team under his belt and would have bagged an FA Cup final winner. He has been duly rewarded for his brilliant year with an elevation into the mid-70’s.

Onwards and upwards, Jesse.
