Arriving with a huge price tag weighing upon his shoulders, much was expected of Anthony Martial last season. It would have been easy for the Frenchman to wilt under such an extortionate fee.

Instead, he embraced it - beginning with a debut goal against Liverpool. The 20-year-old would go on to score 17 goals in his debut season, and it’s a credit to his maturity that he is regarded as one of the more senior players.
