1. Angel Correa

Angel Correa’s reputation as one of FUT’s best hidden gems is well established, but guess what? He’s even better in Career Mode. Aguero, Higuain, and Messi stand as Argentina’s premier forwards, but chances are you’re not going to have anywhere near the funds required to buy those guys. Correa’s your man, and while his overall rating is just 79, it grows to 88, and his starting stats are absurdly good.

There’s a reason this guy’s continually referred to as a “cheap Messi.” The young ST’s agility, dribbling, ball, and acceleration stats are already in the high 80s. Correa is outstanding on a technical level, he’s quick, and with finishing of 81 and 82 for long shots, he can score from almost anywhere. Furthermore, his four star skills make him a real menace when operating in deeper positions, and he’s just as adept at starting attacking moves as he is finishing them.

Available for just £15m, Correa should be one of the first names on your hitlist, particularly if you have a fondness for flair players. Put him in your side and he won’t just score bucket loads, but continually disrupt defences with his movement, and leave the opposition embarrassed with his sublime technique.
