FIFA 17 Career Mode: 11 Players You Need To Sign

2. Dele Alli

Dele Alli was good in FIFA 16, but he’s legitimately world class in FIFA 17. Topping out at 90 in terms of potential overall rating, he’s one of the best players in the game, and if you’re hell bent on building your own set of Galacticos, Tottenham’s young CAM should be a top priority.

His initial 80 rating might not look too impressive, but don’t let that fool you. Alli already comes with the Flair, Long Shot Taker, and Technical Dribbler traits, and his all-round statistics compete with the best of them. Alli is quick for his position (77 acceleration, 73 sprint speed), intelligent (82 positioning, 76 vision), technical (81 ball control), and a great passer (83 short, 73 long). Physically, the guy’s an absolute monster, and with 88 for stamina, you’ll never need to sub him off.

Sadly, such quality comes at a hefty price tag. Alli’s services will set you back tens of millions, so if you’re not playing with a rich side, he’s likely going to be out of reach. Still, with some of the ridiculous transfer budgets FIFA likes to throw out in your career’s second and third seasons, you may just be able to acquire the best young midfielder in the game.
