FIFA 18: 10 Changes EA Sports Must Make
1. A Transfer Market That Makes Sense
It’s a niggle that you only really find after playing the campaign mode through a few seasons but it’s one that really shakes up the desired immersion of the game. You’ll notice that after a while only big players go to big clubs. Small players stay at small clubs.
What’s more, say you managed to turn a youth team player into a semi functional member of the squad (good luck). Then say that, due to them being up front, they manage to bang in a few important goals a la Jamie Vardy. Does that mean that another club will swoop with a silly big campaign changing offer? Don’t bet on it.
Say you choose to start with a lesser Prem team and manage to do a Leicester. Will clubs be lining up to steal away your best players the next season? Double don’t bet on it which, in that situation, kind of ruins the challenge. Sure you could just say no to any offers but it’d be nice to be asked right?
