FIFA 17's demo let gamers try out exhibition matches and the delicious new story mode known only as 'The Journey'. Stepping into Alex Hunter's shoes and previewing his rise from wide-eyed kid to Premier League star was huge last year, and it makes sense to believe EA will do the same with the second leg of Hunter's saga in FIFA 18.

Avid FIFA fans are guessing that 18's demo will land on September 15. This is a full fortnight before the full game, following the trend set by FIFA 16 and 17 in previous years. So, 2 weeks before playing the full thing, you could be checking out all the new bells and whistles rumoured for The Journey 2. That's exciting.

We want to be customising Alex with a new hairdo, facial hair and training kit before he embarks on pre-season training. That's not all though, because the fine folks over at dreamteamfc.com are also hinting that FIFA 18's demo will leave players on a career cliffhanger just in time for the full story on September 29.
