FIFA 18: 10 Rumours You Need To Know

3. Alex Hunter Will Go On Loan To The Bundesliga Or Ligue 1

EA actually created a real-life Twitter account for fictional FIFA star Alex Hunter. If you choose to follow @MrAlexHunter on social media, you won't see much in the way of activity. It's hard not to notice that blue tick though; oh yes, FIFA's made-up football hero is verified like a proper celebrity.

The account only follows 13 others, but it's in studying that info that you'll make a startling realisation. Alongside typical follows like the Premier League, England's national team and FIFA itself, Hunter's account also follows the German Bundesliga and French Ligue 1 leagues. Hmm, does this mean that they'll be involved in The journey 2?

That's quite the heavy hint being dropped by EA that Alex falls out of favour with his Premier League club early on in the new story, thus leading to a loan move elsewhere. It looks like he's headed for Europe, possibly to a club like Dortmund or Monaco. How crafty of you, EA Sports.
