Christian Atsu: 75

Matt Ritchie: 75

Rolando Aarons: 72

Jacob Murphy: 68

Both of Newcastle United's starting wingers have seen their overall ratings decline by a single point in FIFA 18. Rated 76 last season, Christian Atsu and Matt Ritchie both sit at 75 in this year's incarnation, with the Ghanaian international's 91 pace making him the second fastest player at the club.

Ex-Norwich City wide man Jacob Murphy set Newcastle back £12 million this summer, but sits at just 68 overall. Diving into his most relevant stats, he'll have 82 for pace, 69 dribbling, 66 for shot power, and 62 passing. Perhaps he'll come with a high potential rating, but his starting numbers are disappointing, given that he was NUFC's costliest summer buy.

Perma-crock Rolando Aarons completes the group with an overall rating of 72 - no change on his FIFA 17 score. The left-sided player made just four Championship appearances last season, but provided an assist and a goal in the club's recent League Cup loss to Nottingham Forest. Still, he came with a potential rating of 82 in FIFA 17, making him a prime candidate for developing in Career Mode.
