FIFA 18: 9 Things We Already Know
5. FIFA 18's Demo Lands 2 Weeks Before Release
As things stand, FIFA 18 is set to be released worldwide on Friday, September 29. There will be early access opportunities beforehand, such as the beta testing key members of the FIFA community enjoy, but most players will be getting their hands on the final product in late-September.
A fortnight before then, FIFA 18's demo will drop on PSN and Xbox Live. Last year's demo enabled gamers to sample matches as some of the game's top teams, and it's expected 18's demo will follow the same build as EA's preview code for events like E3. Therefore, sides such as Man Utd, Juventus and Chelsea will be playable.
FIFA 18's demo is expected on September 15, and could even give a glimpse into what's to come from The Journey 2. Fans want a much bigger experience from the story mode this year, so EA may focus on selling that aspect of the game more than one-off exhibition matches we've played a million times before.
